Epic Games Provide an Update on Console ‘Win’ Glitch in Fortnite: Battle Royale – May 31st

Epic Games has announced a fix for the console win issue in Fortnite: Battle Royale following a recent patch and addressed fans in regards to any wins obtained during the issue.

Following the release of the V.4.3.0 patch in Fortnite: Battle Royale on Wednesday, May 30th, multiple users on console reported that the game was not correctly counting and documenting any wins that may have been obtained.

In typical Epic Games fashion, the developer quickly responded to community feedback and identified the problem in-game, leading them to create a fix as soon as possible.

On May 31st, Epic Games rolled out a small update to address the ‘win’ issue, along with a collection of other bugs and glitches found in the V.4.3.0 patch.

However, after announcing that the fix was successful, Epic Games mentioned that any wins earned by players over the period of the issue will likely not be counted or back-tracked.

As of writing, it is unknown if Epic Games will change their stance on granting wins to those that obtained them prior to the update being introduced.
