Formula 1 star Pierre Gasly was the recipient of a signed Arsenal shirt ahead of this weekend’s Saudi Arabia Grand Prix.

Gasly has made no secret of his admiration for the Premier League giants, after he was spotted visiting the Emirates Stadium last month.

The Alpine star was in attendance for Arsenal’s crucial 3-1 win over title rivals Liverpool.

The 28-year-old made his way down to pitch as he caught up with fellow countryman William Saliba after another impressive display for the Gunners.

And now it appears that Gasly has been given a rather memorable gift after his team took to social media to showcase a signed shirt from the current crop of Arsenal stars.

Gasly will no doubt be hoping it can bring him some luck this Saturday as he gears up for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The Alpine driver got off to a nightmare start for the season opener in Bahrain last weekend, qualifying last and only making up two places for a P18 finish come the chequered flag.

Arsenal’s impressive Premier League run of seven straight victories meanwhile sees them competing at the very top of the table.

The Gunners sit two points behind league leaders Liverpool and one point behind second-placed Man City – who have recently announced a brand new Netflix documentary arriving next month.
