100 Thieves owner Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag is not afraid to throw shade at his former organization OpTic Gaming, even if it’s in front of thousands of viewers.

Live-streaming on August 6, the former captain of OpTic’s Call of Duty team took shots at the org, calling them a “dying team.”

The conversation began when OpTic content creator Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, a closer friend of Nadeshot’s, asked him where his 100 Thieves hoodie was.

Nade responded to the comment tongue-in-cheek, making sure not to miss the opportunity to throw a jab at his former org.

“Right where your Optic hoodie is. Damn dude, Jack’s the biggest creator on a dying team, can you believe it?”

After several successful years with OpTic, Nadeshot eventually left to promote his own brand and ultimately form his own org called 100 Thieves.

Since then, 100 Thieves and OpTic have had a professional rivalry, especially in the NA League Championship Series, where Nade promised his entire roster that he would buy them Yeezy sneakers should they beat the Green Wall in their first meeting.

Despite this rivalry, he holds his former org in high regard, and has a close relationship with several of its members.

However, all is fair in love and war, and Nadeshot has proved that he will not hold back the verbals when it comes to 100 Thieves vs OpTic.
