Grand Theft Auto RP on Twitch, but is there a chance that it could happen?

The popular streamer, who Battlefield V’s Firestorm, PUBG and Call of Duty Blackout in under two hours, is still yet to venture into the world of roleplaying across Los Santos.

However, there’s always a chance that – with increased demand from fans- that Doc’s hand could be forced to give it a shot.

What is GTA RP?

The Grand Theft Auto RP [roleplaying] craze has spread across Twitch like wildfire and many streamers have abandoned the games fans are used to seeing them play to get involved.

One example of this is Summit1g, who is very much enjoying himself on the game since switching from Apex Legends and Sea of Thieves

GTA RP is a multiplayer mod that allows players to carve out their own path and story in the game, interacting with other players and NPCs. For more information, feel free to scroll through our helpful guide to the popular mod.

GFUEL, TwitterDr Disrespect has been asked about playing GTA RP many times during Twitch streams.

Will Dr Disrespect scrap battle royales for GTA RP?

Anyone that knows anything about Dr Disrespect will be aware that he’s very much a battle royale game man at the moment. Whether it’s playing Apex Legends, Battlefield V’s Firestorm or even Fortnite, the Doc can more often than not be seen running from circle to circle.

However, while there’s still an overwhelming backing from his cult following to continue down that path, some others have been asking about moving away from the first-person shooters and explore the world of roleplay.

Whether or not those questions are being met with answers that keep the hope alive, though, seems to be a different story.

The Two-Time has just flat out rejected the opportunity of GTA RP in the past, but when he was asked again during a stream on April 8, he did seem to have a good think about it – as seen above.

“I don’t know what you guys are talking about,” he said, addressing speculation from his chat that a new sheriff is coming to town. “I don’t even have enough memory on my computer to install that game. That game has got to be about 400 gigs [GB],” he added.

Rockstar GamesWill we see Dr Disrespect driving around in GTA RP any time soon?

What else has Dr Disrespect said about GTA RP?

As popularity continues to surge for GTA RP, Dr Disrespect has been asked about giving it a go on numerous occasions – as you would expect.

Yet, he couldn’t be quicker to shoot the idea down time and time again.

Talking about the possibility of playing RP, Doc also revealed what type of character he would like to play and it’s possibly not the role you would expect.

Verdict

Whether or not we will see Dr Disrespect streaming GTA RP on his Twitch channel in the near future remains to be seen, but there’s a chance – as mentioned earlier – that demand could sway his decision.

It’s going to be tough for all of those ‘chubby cheek’ gamers running around Los Santos if he does arrive on the scene, though, especially if he sticks with the paperboy character idea he’s already teased.

Asmongold defends Forsen after learning the real reason for Twitch ban

Popular Twitch star ‘Asmongold’ went to bat for fellow streamer Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors after the Swede was banned from the platform on November 26.

At first, no one knew the real reason for Forsen’s ban, with some thinking it may have been DMCA-related. However, viewers soon discovered that for a brief moment in a recent broadcast he showed a gif of a horse in a very inappropriate scene.

Despite this, Asmongold decided to stick up for Forsen during his own broadcast and call out Twitch for banning him due to an honest mistake.

“How the f**k is that going to be TOS? If…I don’t understand. You’ve got other people and they’re going around showing Animal Planet,” he explained. “Like you see literal animals killing each other, but you see a horse’s d**k?”

To this, Asmongold makes an interesting point. There are streams on Twitch that document animals in the wild and they can get into some rather freaky situations that, while natural, aren’t exactly the kind of thing you’d show your boss.

“Listen, horses don’t wear clothes, you know that?” the streamer sarcastically stated. “So, if you look at a horse, you’re going to see their d**k. Like, that’s all there is to it. It’s weird, man.”

However, right after making this argument, the streamer learned that it wasn’t just the horse that got Forsen banned, but the girl who was in the gif with the animal that changed the whole conversation. Briefly, anyway.

“Okay, that’s a little bit different,” he confessed. “It’s a little bit more than what I thought it was.”

Despite this, Asmongold still defended Forsen for the mistake of showing the gif. “I don’t think it’s really that big of a deal. You show that for like a second, right? Cause it’s an accident.”

According to the popular World of Warcraft player, one second of footage shouldn’t determine a whole Twitch career. “That seems stupid to me,” he added. “But you know, here we are.”

Unfortunately for Forsen, the streamer says this time, his ban is indefinite and it’s unclear when, if ever, he will be unbanned.

Hopefully, with Asmongold speaking out, Twitch can agree to let this incident slide and let Fors back on the platform so he can stream again.
