Simply titled, ‘Conspiracy Series,’ the trailer shows Dawson and a slew of other individuals set to disturbing music, who appear to be shocked by what looks to be such technology as facial recognition, DeepFakes, and the Amazon Echo.

Dawson hinted that the series would take a drastic turn from his usual subject matter months beforehand, following the conclusion of his Jake Paul documentary in early October of 2018.

After throwing around the possibility of UFO sightings, the California wildfires, and even a discussion on YouTube’s widely-debated advertising algorithm, it appears that Dawson is taking a deep-dive into next-gen technology – more specifically, into privacy breaches created by such technology.

Dawson amped up the suspense by showing what appears to be sensitive documents, and even commented that he might need to contact his lawyer.
