Ninja Cautiously Answers When Asked If He’s Going to Join FaZe Clan

Ninja, currently a member of Luminosity Gaming, gave a strangely reserved answer when asked about the potential of joining FaZe Clan, hinting at something possibly in the works.

Formerly a professional Halo player, Ninja has represented a number of storied esports teams, but has been a member of Canadian organization Luminosity the majority of his full time streaming career.

Now the most popular streamer in the world, he built his impressive following all while under the Luminosity banner, and has become closely tied to them, despite not being a professional player for any of their teams.

But LG are a competitive esports team first, and content creation/influencer team second, which is perhaps why rumors of Ninja’s departure have started.

Admittedly, given the size of Ninja’s fanbase, rumors are likely to spawn from just about anything, regardless of whether he feeds into them himself or not.

But when asked on stream about joining FaZe Clan, Ninja certainly threw some fuel on the fire with his response, as he hesitated to dedicate his future to LG.

“I love FaZe, I love almost every single player on there, if not all of them. I love Banks and I love all those guys. I’m on Luminosity right now, obviously, and you know, when the time comes, it is 100% in my best interest to, you know… you know. You know…”

Failing to finish his thought, it appears Ninja was cautious of saying too much, and it begs the question what exactly is “100% in my best interests.”

Of course, it could be nothing at all, and given the whirlwind of rumors Ninja is perhaps knowingly feeding into it just for fun.

There is also somewhat of a natural rivalry between the best Fortnite players in FaZe, namely Tfue and Cloak, and Ninja himself, which would be spoilt should Ninja join the team too.

But it is undeniable FaZe Clan’s reach and social media presence would bolster Ninja’s already massive following, albeit Luminosity are a well known and supportive organization in their own right. Not to mention the relationship they already have with Ninja.

Ninja was previously linked with FaZe Clan earlier in 2018, when NFL Player and FaZe member JuJu Smith-Schewster seemed to (maybe jokingly) hint at Ninja coming to the FaZe house ‘when he joins’.
