Man's DoorDash order goes viral after 200 nuggets are delivered instead of 20

A hilarious DoorDash mix-up has gone viral on TikTok after a man accidentally ordered 200 nuggets instead of 20.

While ordering through a food delivery service is intended to make life easier, it’s important to carefully check everything has been purchased correctly before the final checkout.

One man found this out the hard way after discovering his mistake on DoorDash had resulted in 200 nuggets being delivered to his front door instead of 20.

Jessica, who goes by ‘lynn_j_goat‘ on TikTok, took to the popular social media app to share her husband’s hilarious and costly mix-up.

In the video, the whole family is present as chicken nuggets are laid out across the table in a seemingly never-ending stream.

Shocked and laughing, the family was baffled by how many nuggets had ended up in their hands, the video panning to reveal a whole bag packed with more of the chicken treats.

In another video showcasing the entire spread of nuggets, Jessica questioned whether the immense order was a “prank.” However, it turned out to be all because of a simple mix-up — and Jessica’s husband was to blame.

“So my husband went on the Doordash app and instead of hitting the [10 nuggets] he accidentally put in the quantity as like, x 20,” Jessica explained. “He doesn’t pay attention to the details. And I think he mentioned, like, ‘Wow, this is expensive.'”

While waiting on their order, the DoorDash driver texted the family to let them know the food would take longer than expected as McDonald’s was making it fresh. The group didn’t think much of it until their food arrived… in eight bags.

“After we realize that Chris messed up the order, we just lost it… it was just nuggets after nuggets after nuggets,” Jessica said. “And so we did live by the beach and there’s a pier down the street and there’s a lot of homeless people out there… So we went down and we fed a ton of homeless people and they were so happy… It turned out to be really awesome — a really awesome experience.”

In the end, none of the nuggets went to waste and something tells us, Jessica’s husband will be a little more careful ordering from DoorDash in the future.
