Scorching Avatar: The Last Airbender Azula cosplay brings the heat

Cosplayer ‘Pseudo’ stunned fans with an amazing take on the Fire Nation’s princess Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Avatar is a fan favorite show based in a universe where everyone is split into four main nations based on their elements and powers – earth, air, fire, and water.

The show follows a long lost ‘Avatar’, a master of all four elements, named Aang. He sets out to harness his skills and eventually bring peace to the world, meeting many different unique and captivating characters.

This makes it a perfect show for cosplayers, as there are so many choices of characters. Some go with members of the peaceful and calm Water Tribe while others choose the intense and energetic Fire Nation.

Pseudo chose the latter and showed off an incredible cosplay of Azula – including all the attitude and pride of the fire princess. The Aussie cosplayer perfectly recreated her battle armor, stylishly showing off the Fire Nation’s iconic black, red, and gold.

It’s difficult to find any flaws with the outfit, in fact, if there were to be an official version of it made, this would probably be it. The cosplay features the classic double-shoulders, all the small details match up perfectly. The hair and even the lipstick are a precise recreation.

Azula is a fairly common character to cosplay due to her importance in the show. She’s one of the main antagonists and is often seen hunting down the Avatar and leading the Fire Nation’s armies in their bid to conquer the world.

Even though many have donned the outfit of the fire princess since the show’s release in 2005, Psuedo’s may just be the best one yet. Fans of the show and cosplay will undoubtedly be hoping for more to come.
