Espeon is a Psychic-type Pokémon from Generation II, and is evolved from Eevee when using a Moon Shard or with high friendship during the morning or the day. It made its first appearance in the Gold and Silver games for the Nintendo Game Boy Color.

Cosplayer Spring from ‘White Spring Cosplay’ took her love of the adorable creature and turned it into a fully fledged outfit – the results are amazing.

While it can be difficult to pull off a look based around something that’s not human, Spring nailed her rendition of Espeon, taking the creature’s lilac and pink colors and turning it into an amazing costume.

She created a waist sash and a hood with the Pokémon’s ears on to mimic its design, but also used two red gems – one on her forehead and one on her chest – to really pull the look together.

In a previous Instagram post, the cosplayer revealed that the outfit only took less than two days to make – something you wouldn’t know by looking at the costume because of how detailed it is.

The inclusion of multiple types of fabric come together to create the illusion of weeks worth of work, and really gives the cosplay a polished finish.

Spring has also cosplayed Umbreon before, another evolution of Eevee. Instead of using a Sun Shard to evolve, players must use a Moon Shard or high friendship during the night.

Her cosplay of the other evolution is just as impressive, and again, she used a hood to replicate the Pokémon’s ears.

The Norwegian cosplayer’s creations prove popular as she boasts almost 27,000 followers on her Instagram page, with many fans commenting praise on the photos she posts.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are due to be released for Nintendo Switch on November 15, so players can be sure to see many more incredible cosplays nearer the time.
