The final competitive event of the Black Ops 4 season kicks off on Wednesday, August 14, and runs through to August 18, and Treyarch is marking the celebration with a few days of in-game rewards for players.

There are, sadly, no cosmetics or even free supply drops, even though they would be very welcome, but instead, players can get their hands on a few helpful boosts that will see them level up quicker in multiplayer, blackout, and zombies.

TreyarchBlackout players can earn levels quicker with the new Quad Feed event.

Starting at 10 AM PT/1 PM EST and 6 PM BST on Monday, August 12, players will receive double XP in multiplayer for both their own levels and weapons. Players in Blackout will also be rewarded with double merits towards their Blackout level.

In Zombies, Treyarch is handing over 2x Nebulium Plasma so you can grind your ways through rounds of zombie hordes in a bid to claim those all-important Elixirs and Talismans before you start again.

This bonus quad-feed event will not run all the way through until Championship Sunday, however, as it ends in the days leading up to the end of the prestigious tournament.

Black Ops 4 players will only have until 10 AM PT/1 PM EST and 6 PM BST on Friday, August 16 to earn those boosts and attempt to rank up before a brand new CoD Champs victor is crowned and written into the history books.

Fans from across the world will tune in to watch OpTic Gaming try to reclaim their crown, 100 Thieves try and cement themselves as the best Black Ops 4 team around, and to see if an end of season victory in on the cards for the resurgent eUnited

It remains to be seen if Treyarch has anything else up their sleeve for a further celebration as the Black Ops 4 competitive season comes to a close but anything else would be a bonus on top of double XP.
