Treyarch has fixed a major looting bug in Blackout, which occurred following the latest patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Treyarch announced the fix in a response to a complaint on Reddit on October 20, which stated that the game was ‘unplayable’ due to the glitch.

The bug in question prevented players from looting the bags of fallen enemies – but only if their backpack was already filled to max capacity.

Treyarch likewise confirmed an additional update forthcoming later in the day, as well as other ‘tweaks.’

‘This has been fixed,’ Treyarch wrote. ‘Additional minor update coming later today with some other tweaks!’

These ‘tweaks’ could point to the game’s recent update to its Halloween event, allowing PS4 users to gain free access to the Halloween stream through the Black Market. Additionally, players will receive seasonal gear that they can use across all game modes, as well as a slew of new challenges in Zombies called Halloween Calling.

Many users are hoping for a fix to the game’s stuttering issue, as well, which has been widely reported across the Black Ops 4 subreddit. Some players have even reported their game freezing for an entire second or more.

Blackout has seen massive success since its release, currently topping Twitch’s most-viewed games and succeeding the likes of Fortnite and League of Legends – even during the game’s World Championships, as reported by Twitch’s statistics on most-watched games per hour as taken on October 17.
