Dr DisRespect Quizzes Karma on His Future as a Professional CoD Player

The decision by OpTic Gaming to drop Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow ahead of the CWL Pro League wasn’t a popular decision with fans of the team.

The only three-time world champion on the planet couldn’t work out a deal with another squad in time, meaning he missed out on Stage Two of the Pro League, and ultimately decided he’d be missing Champs for the first time.

His former teammates Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter and Seth ‘Scump’ Abner have yet to justify dropping Karma with a tournament win, placing 5th/6th at CWL Anaheim alongside new recruits Sam ‘Octane’ Larew and Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni.

Karma meanwhile has been taking a more relaxed approach by streaming a variety of games, including Fortnite, and spending time with his family in his new home in Texas.

So what does the future hold for Karma? Popular streamer Dr DisRespect asked him that very question while streaming on Wednesday, June 20th.

The Doc was playing a squad match with Karma and Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop when he asked him about whether he’d be continuing to compete when Black Ops 4 is released.

Doc “So talk to me about the Karma update”

Karma “I couldn’t tell you, I don’t know.”

Doc: “Are you still a pro Call of Duty player or are you retired? Semi-retired? What’s going on?

Karma: “I don’t plan on stopping, ok?”

Doc: “Ok, there we go, good.

Karma: “I don’t plan on stopping”

Doc: “Too much violence, too much speed, too much momentum!”

Karma “Yup, but I feel like I’m sitting here getting old”
