Atlanta FaZe star Priestahh ranks top 5 pro teams in Modern Warfare

Atlanta FaZe Call of Duty League team star Preston ‘Priestahh’ Griener has revealed who he believes to be the top five teams in Modern Warfare ahead of the opening event in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

There have been hotly-contested debates regarding which team is the best since the game released in October 2019. Chicago Huntsmen were tipped to be the team to beat with the raw firepower on the squad, but Dallas Empire were dominant in online tournament in the opening few weeks.

While at first, it seemed that Dallas were the undisputed number one, Priestahh has given an alternative top five, suggesting that some teams might have started to catch up with the Envy-owned team.

Twitter: PriestahhPriestahh (bottom right) saw mass success under 100 Thieves in 2019 – and expects to continue that in 2020.

When a viewer in Twitch chat asked Priestahh who he believes the top five teams are, he started off fairly quickly saying “Us [Atlanta], Dallas, Chicago…” before a few moments where he couldn’t quite decide.

Perhaps this is because the next few teams are so close in terms of skill, or because they’re so far off where his top three are, but after looking a little stumped for a couple of seconds he named his fourth and fifth respectively.

“Minnesota… and New York,” he said, but without sounding too convinced that they were the correct teams.

Priestahh did go on to say that there are some teams they haven’t really scrimmed yet, such as London Royal Ravens, LA Guerillas or Toronto Ultra, so he may not be up to date with how good they are, and where they rank in terms of other squads.

While ranking his own team at number one might seem a bit of an obvious choice as competitors won’t want to rank other teams above them, he’s not the only pro player that believes Atlanta is the best team in Modern Warfare right now.

On January 6, Seattle Surge’s Josiah ‘Slacked’ Berry tweeted out saying “ATL FaZe is the best team in MW and it’s not even close,” a sentiment echoed in the replies by top Call of Duty caster Clint ‘Maven’ Evans who called the team “absurd”.

There’s no way to know for sure which teams are the best until the events start playing out, but it looks like Dallas’ initial dominance in the game is going to be heavily challenged by the young stars on Atlanta FaZe.

The first event of the Modern Warfare Call of Duty League season takes place in Minneapolis, Minnesota from January 24-26 at the Minneapolis Armory.

Hilarious Black Ops Cold War bug literally breaks Fireteam Dirty Bomb

A game-breaking Black Ops Cold War bug is suspending players above the map on Fireteam Dirty Bomb, rendering them useless for the entire match.

As with any new release, Black Ops Cold War has had its fair share of bugs and glitches. From players falling through the map to a permanent thermal overlay, its obvious Treyarch overlooked a few elements of the game before releasing the title.

However, if a bug is not game-breaking, players will usually laugh it off and let it go. It’s only when a glitch renders players completely useless that a bug starts to become more frustrating than funny.

Well, that’s exactly the type of bug some players are experiencing on Fireteam Dirty Bomb and it’s fair to say they’re not pleased about it.

Fireteam Dirty Bomb is the new mode released with Black Ops Cold War.

Game-breaking bug suspends players above the map

A video posted to the Black Ops Cold War subreddit reveals a game-breaking bug occurring on Fireteam Dirty Bomb. The glitch suspends the players above the map for the entire match with them unable to move or participate.

On top of this, it appears the entire game mode is broken with teams being bigger than they’re are supposed to be and textures not loading in.

As you can see, the players are left floating above the map and are audibly frustrated at the issue. One of them even states: “I’d genuinely be surprised if they even had playtesters for this game.”

It’s worth noting the players can scope down onto the map below but they’re completely locked in place. Attempting to run will trigger the animation but no movement will occur.

Glitches can be entertaining in certain titles, especially when they do not heavily impact the gameplay experience. However, in competitive games like Call of Duty, a game-breaking bug can be extremely frustrating.

Fingers crossed Treyarch get this bug fixed as soon as possible so players don’t have to continue spectating the game from above the map.
