Baldur’s Gate 3 players are excited about the more docile side of an upcoming NSFW mod and share the features they are most excited about.

Baldur’s Gate has been one of the fastest-growing games since its release in August 2023. Since then the game has been released on most major consoles like Xbox and PlayStation in addition to its original PC-only release.

One of the contributing factors behind the success of Bladur’s Gate is its compatibility with mod integration on PC. There are hundreds of mods to choose from in order to enhance your gameplay; from party extensions to clothing additions, there is something for everyone.

The rumor of a new sex mod coming to the game has fans excited, but not for the reasons you may think.

Baldur's Gate 3 romance

Baldur’s Gate fans want more hugs and hand-holding

A Reddit post revealed that a creator of an upcoming NSFW mod allegedly said that they were initially making a mod to add more touching interactions to the game. This includes things like kissing, hugging, and hand-holding to the game.

While there are romance-like options for players to explore in Baldur’s Gate, fans think there should be more interactions between their Tav and whichever partner they have chosen to romance.

“Literally all I want is to be able to actually move into Karlach’s tent and cuddle for long rests,” said one user under the post. “Feels so weird to say I love you, then still sleep on our four little equidistant bedrolls. Well, that and to be able to decorate my camp like the Sims…”

One of the most requested actions beneath the Reddit post is a hugging feature for character interactions.

Multiple users said they would love the opportunity to hug one of their companions, even if not romancing them, simply because they seem to need it.
