Scrounging around for weapons and items is never a good thing in Apex Legends, especially at the start of each game when you’re vulnerable. So, let’s break down all of the locations on the World’s Edge map that have the most supply bins.

The game’s fourth season, Assimilation, got underway on February 4 and with that huge update came not only a change to certain areas of the island, but also some tweaks made to where bins spawn as well.

Some players had a sneaking suspicion that blue rare supply bins would be part of these changes, but Respawn Entertainment’s developers have since confirmed that those aren’t featured in the game. As for the red ones, which have all sorts of useful stuff inside, let’s take a look at where they drop most.

Here’s what the Apex Legends map looks like in Season 4 – with the Harvester appearing near the middle.

Supply bin spawns in Apex Legends – Where do they appear most?

Here we’re going to break down, from fifth position to top, where the most bins spawn in Apex Legends. Hopefully this will give you a better idea of where to land in the future, or evidence to suggest a change in approach for your teammates.

5. Skyhook

Respawn Entertainment
Skyhook is the fifth best spot in Apex Legends for supply bins.

As many players will know already, Skyhook is one of the most popular destinations in Apex Legends – with a number of towering buildings filled with weapons and items.

There are a total of 26 supply bins to be found at the destination, meaning that there’s enough for a few Trios to land here and comfortably have enough to battle right off the bat. It’s a very popular place as well, for those reasons.

4. The Dome

Respawn Entertainment
The Dome has the fourth highest amount of supply bins spawning there.

Dropping at this lava-filled loot sanctuary might be a bit daunting at first. After all, falling into the molten rock is quite dangerous and there’s not always an easy way of getting out once you have fell in.

However, it’s definitely one where the reward outweighs the risk with The Dome in Apex Legends, as there are 30 supply bins waiting to be opened.

It’s not necessarily one of the most populated locations, either, and has another great looting spot right near it – Lava City. There, you will find an additional 14 bins, making this a really good place to land or visit.

3. The Fragments

Respawn Entertainment
The two Fragments are usually hot drops in Apex Legends.

Between Fragment North and Fragment West there are a total of 32 supply bins, although they are spread across quite a larger distance than other points of interest – hence their names being broken in two.

Taking one side of the Fragments, given the amount of stuff there is to find, however, would stand any player in good stead for the rest of the game. It can be very difficult to do that in some games, though, due to the sheer amount of legends dropping here. It’s very popular.

2. Sorting Factory

Respawn Entertainment
Sorting Factory is a large location packed with supply bins.

You could very well be sorting a ton of loot of your own, if you have a successful start to the game at Sorting Factory.

The huge factory location packs a punch where weapons and items are concerned, with 45 supply bins spawning at the location every game.

1. Thermal Station

Respawn Entertainment
Thermal Station is packed with bins in Apex Legends – and it one of the best places to land in World’s Edge.

Finally, the place where the most supply bins spawn in Apex Legends Season 4 is Thermal Station – which won’t be a surprise to many regular players.

You might have spotted a common theme among these popular looting spots by now. Where there’s lava, there seems to be a shed load of bins to come with it. There’s a total of 58 supply bins at this spot alone.

If you don’t land at any of those five regularly, you can check out the number of supply bins that appear at your favorite landing spot in the list below – using stats from ApexLegendsMap.

  • Drill Site –11 bins
  • Lava City – 14 bins
  • Lava Fissure – 23 bins
  • Mirage Voyage – 22 bins
  • Overlook – 19 bins
  • Refinery – 25 bins
  • Skyhook – 26 bins
  • Sorting Factory – 45 bins
  • Survey Camp – 10 bins
  • The Dome – 30 bins
  • The Epicenter – 24 bins
  • The Fragments – 32 bins
  • The Geyser – 17 bins
  • The Harvester – 24 bins
  • The Train Yard – 24 bins
  • The Tree – 11 bins
  • Thermal Station – 58 bins

It’s worth noting that these statistics don’t necessarily mean that these locations are definitely the best to loot, as you have to take into account not just the popularity of each drop zone, but also the floor loot that will also be scattered around some places.

One or two locations not featured in the top five from earlier may have a lower amount of overall weapons and items spawn there, when compared to those in the longer list above. What these stats do tell us, however, is a reason for some of these destinations being swarmed on by players at the start of every match.

Classic Apex Legends care package bug is plaguing games on Olympus

Published: 29/Nov/2020 13:19

A classic Apex Legends care package bug has resurfaced in the ongoing Season 7, meaning it has now plagued every single one of the game’s maps – first Kings Canyon, then World’s Edge and now Olympus.

A game as big and variable as Apex Legends was bound to be plagued by bugs from time to time, but players have grown increasingly frustrated with Respawn as more and more bugs not only affect gameplay, but return in multiple different seasons.

That is the case with this particular care package issue, which has previously surfaced on both Kings Canyon and World’s Edge. Unfortunately, it has now made a return in Season 7 and Olympus, despite efforts from Respawn to patch it in the past.

Apex Legends Lifeline Cosplay

Lifeline might be a support legend, but her care packages can get teams out of tricky spots.

The glitch revolves around a care package spawning in a location slightly off the map’s customary boundaries. For example, it might be slightly below, on a couple of the large pipes that help to prop up the Olympus environment.

Pursuing the care package, which often contains top-tier loot, results in an instant death, as one Redditor unluckily found out.

Joking that they got ‘bamboozled’ by a care package, they hopped down below to take advantage of the loot on offer, only to be killed rapidly when hitting the area of the map the care package had nestled itself in.

It doesn’t appear to be an isolated incident either, unfortunately. Another Reddit user shared a YouTube clip entitled ‘It’s a Trap!’

The video shows off an almost identical death, as the allure of top-tier weaponry is enough to provide the player with an instant and immensely frustrating death.

Respawn have not yet responded to the issue, but we expect to see small adjustments made to stop the issues from occurring. For the time being, though, avoid going for care packages that look like they’re in dangerous locations.
