Apex Legends players are getting sick of “most hated” legend in the game

Apex Legends players are growing sick of the game’s “most hated” Legend, Horizon, as she’s “overpowered” again because of her movement abilities.

The formula of battle royale games has always been so similar – you drop in, loot up, and try to be the final team or player alive. However, Apex Legends threw another wrinkle into the mix by making you play as characters with pre-set abilities.

Naturally, some Legends have been stronger than others at times, and that has prompted Respawn to make a fair amount of changes. That includes a massive amount at the start of Season 20, which has every legend affected by the new upgrade system, and a fair few others given their own individual buffs and nerfs.

Horizon saw her Gravity Lift ability changed once again, as the cooldown was increased by five seconds to 25 seconds. However, some players are getting sick of her altogether.

Apex Legends players tired of Horizon being ‘OP’

Apex Legends fan RaizTheOne vented their frustrations with the Gravitational Manipulator, uploading a clip of an encounter with her in a recent game.

“Most heated legend in Apex for a reason,” the Redditor said, showing the enemy Horizon using the Gravity Lift to jump skyward and pull off some heals after being shot down to pretty low health.

“She really is the only character that just does not feel honest. Every other movement ability has some sort of drawback or restriction but she has none. Why can she use healing on her Q still Idk,” another fan said. “Yeah, Horizon is just a crutch for bad players. My duo is a horizon main and he can’t do s*it on other legends,” added another.

Other players, who are also tired of Horizon, suggested their own ideas for changes. “She is so overpowered and a total crutch. Literally makes the game easy mode. She should have all shooting and healing disabled while in the Q,” one urged.

“They need to make it so she can’t heal or shoot in her gravity lift. It should be a rotation ability only,” another agreed

Seeing as Respawn only recently changed Horizon, it seems unlikely that they’ll make another sweeping change so soon. However, it is something that it worth keeping an eye on.
