twitch streamer gets call from her mom

The mother of a Twitch streamer took action to save her daughter from embarrassment during her Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 broadcast.

Parents getting involved in their kids’ streaming careers can be a mixed bag. We’ve seen xQc’s dad humiliate his son in public and a CS2 streamer get into a fistfight with his mom live on Twitch, after all.

However, one broadcaster is thankful that her mom was watching her content as she ended up saving her daughter from a huge streaming fail that could have upended her whole playthrough.

During a recent broadcast, Twitch streamer ‘bubblicorn’ was playing Spider-Man 2 on PS5 and had no idea her screen was completely blank until her mom stepped in with some wholesome tech support.

As bubblicorn played the game, she received a phone call from her mom and quickly answered it to see what the issue was.

After being alerted to the problem, the streamer adjusted the broadcast to show the gameplay and couldn’t help but laugh at how her mom had to step in with some assistance.

“She’s like, ‘I can’t see anything! I just see you!’” the streamer giggled. “Oh my God, that has to be the biggest streaming fail ever. I played for a whole ten minutes without the screen showing.”

The streamer further revealed that her mom and dad were both texting her about the issues and only realized once her mother got through.

Luckily, it doesn’t seem like bubblicorn will be making the same rookie Twitch mistake twice after a clip of her picking up the phone spread across on the platform, amassing over 100,000 views.
