Woman calls out DoorDash drivers for not wanting to deliver to doors anymore

A woman has gone viral on TikTok after blasting DoorDash drivers who refuse to deliver to customers’ doors.

TikToker Kanu (deandrakanu) left viewers divided after taking to the video platform to complain about DoorDash workers not delivering food directly to people’s doors.

“Somehow DoorDash quickly became ‘Call-you-when-I’m-in-the-lobby-Dash.’ The ‘Hey-come-outside-and-pick-it-up-Dash,’” she said in a short clip, which has gone viral with over 1.7 million views.

“I wanted it at my door. That’s why I DoorDashed it. I might be in the shower. I can’t come downstairs to the lobby in my pajamas. That was the whole point of getting it to my door,” Kanu shared.

In the caption of her video, the TikToker added: “Please don’t call me and tell me you’re outside or in the lobby my sweet baby please come to my little door.”

TikTok divided over woman’s DoorDash complaint

TikTok users in the comments had mixed reactions, with some agreeing with her. “No fr cause why you calling me talking bout ‘I’m downstairs’ okay…and?” one user wrote.

“I tell them ‘sorry I broke my foot… that’s why I ordered food…’ lol,” another commented. “If I wanted to get dressed and go outside I would’ve just gotten in the car,” a third stated.

However, DoorDash drivers defended their delivery habits. “I did DoorDash a couple of times and the people that live in apartments never provide their unit numbers so how can you expect that,” one shared. “It all depends on the tip… no tips or low tips you’re gonna meet halfway,” another added.

“I DoorDash but sometimes when the location looks sketchy and they want me to go in their apartment to the 3rd floor I’m like nah I ain’t going to die & just text them that I’m leaving it downstairs,” a third said.
