Adult tech company, Lovense, has announced integration with the Apple Vision Pro, allowing users to remotely control adult toys.

Apple’s Vision Pro isn’t just for watching 3D videos or playing spatial games; it can even become your workspace. But if you think this still doesn’t justify the $3,499 price tag, Lovense might be able to change your mind with their unusual integration with the Vision Pro.

The Singapore-based adult tech company has announced its upcoming software integration with the VR headset, which will let you control your partner’s adult toys in real-time. The integration makes use of Vision Pro’s ability to track your hand movements.

Unlike Meta Quest 3 and PlayStation VR 2, the Apple Vision Pro does not come with hardware controllers. It relies on eye tracking and hand gestures to let you control objects in the virtual space in front of you.

Putting Vision Pro’s gesture control abilities to good use, Lovense got creative and made special gesture recognition commands to let you control your partners’ toys. These gestures could be as a simple “Shaking” motion.

“Users simply need to make certain recognizable gestures such as ‘Grab & Shake’, to generate a real-time unique vibration frequency that controls their partner’s toys,” says the company.

Lovense has a range of products that can already be controlled remotely through their Lovense Remote app. While the company didn’t spell out which devices are in on the Vision Pro integration, a quick look at their website suggests that ones like Hush 2 and Lush 3 are already ready for remote control.

The company aims to make long-distance relationships a lot easier with this integration.

“Thanks to spatial computing technology, in conjunction with the dedicated Lovense Remote app, users can fully experience the new mixed reality it brings.

“It’s a big step towards transforming how people experience long-distance intimacy, and Lovense will continue to innovate in creating more emotionally connected experiences for couples, regardless of the distance,” said Dan Liu, CEO of Lovense.

Vision Pro’s use cases are endless

The Apple Vision Pro is set to hit the market on February 2, and as we approach the launch date, an increasing number of developers are announcing integrations with the VR headset. The advanced hardware of the Vision Pro opens up endless possibilities.

Lovense’s integration with the VR headset is just one example of the many integrations we can expect to see in the future.
