Rhea Ripley is one of WWE’s most popular stars and is ruling over the Raw Women’s division as the Women’s World Champion.

Ripley, real name Demi Bennett, always seemed destined for greatness since she debuted in the Mae Young Classic in 2017. The Australian won championships in NXT UK and NXT before being called up to the main roster.

After an initial underwhelming start to her life on Monday Night Raw, Ripley has come into her own since joining the Judgement Day in 2022. Her popularity has sky-rocketed as the de-facto leader of the faction after Edge was kicked out and she enjoyed an incredible 2023 by winning the Royal Rumble and then defeating Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania to become champion.

With her reign close to reaching a full year, 2024 has gotten off to a great start as it was announced she would be the cover star of the WWE 2k24 video game alongside Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair.

Who is Rhea Ripley dating?

Though on screen Ripley has a hinted relationship with Judgement Day stablemate Dominik Mysterio, ‘Mami’ isn’t actually with the son of the Luchador legend Rey.

The 27-year-old is in a relationship with a fellow wrestler, however, AEW star and fellow Aussie Buddy Matthews.

Real name Matthew Adams, Mathews, 35, is a former WWE superstar but moved to AEW in 2022 and joined Malakai Black and Brody King in the House of Black stable. He is a former AEW Trios champion with his stable mates but the group lost the belts to The Acclaimed at All In Wembley in 2023.

Matthews first joined WWE in 2013 and wrestled under the name Buddy Murphy until his exit. He is a former NXT tag team champion, WWE Cruiserweight Champion and Raw Tag-Team Champion with Seth Rollins.

Ripley and Matthews began dating in 2020 and announced their engagement in an Instagram post in August 2023. In a caption for the picture of the couple, Ripley wrote: “1000x YES. Pure F****** happiness!”
