Palworld players are asking for a major QoL change involving Pal Spheres, as they are sick of losing them, especially when bugs & glitches are involved.

In order to catch Pals in Palworld, you need to use Pal Spheres. Gathering Pal Spheres should be one of the earliest things you do in the game, as you’ll need some to fill out the worker slots in your base.

There are a couple of different ways to get Pal Spheres, but the most common is finding them strewn about in the overworld or treasure chests. You can also craft Pal Spheres once you start building facilities in your base.

Not everyone is happy with the Pal Sphere mechanic in Palworld, especially as there are still ongoing issues with the game in early access that prevent them from being utilized properly.

Palworld players hate losing Pal Spheres

A user on the Palworld Reddit created a thread concerning their frustrations with the game. In Palworld, when you throw a Pal Sphere and it misses, you lose it forever. Players want this changed, as they think you should be able to reclaim the sphere after it has been thrown.

“The first 10 hours of me playing Palworld largely consisted of me mixing up the button to throw out pals and throw pal balls. This was accompanied by frequent swearing,” one user wrote, while another responded, “I have 160 hours in the game and still do this. It never gets better.”

“My personal favorite is throwing them and having them phase through a pal, completely missing, despite having the measured catch rate show up, and the ball flipping directly through the pal,” another user wrote, referring to one of Palworld’s many ongoing glitches.

“Even if it were just 1 out of every 5 missed throws that returned, that would be better than every missed sphere disappearing,” one user said, “Or at least give us some of the ingots and other materials back and make us recraft them!”

Luckily, players aren’t scrambling for Pal Spheres forever. Once you have a good base set up, you should be able to craft as many as you need, especially once you have workers building them en masse for your Pal-catching needs.

It’s just frustrating to lose out on so many spheres during the early stages of the game, especially when it’s easy to mix up the throwing Pal Sphere button with the summon Pal button, and it’s even more annoying when you miss because of a glitch and the sphere is lost forever.
