Overwatch 2 players are out of patience over a persistent bug that stops headshots from hitting the character of Kiriko.

Kiriko has been the subject of much criticism over an apparent bug that stops others from landing a headshot on the character for awhile.

There have been reports about the bug since 2022, soon after the game was released to players.

However, it seems this bug has still not received any fix, and the fanbase is fed up with it by now.

A clip was posted on X by player ‘LukeWarm’ that shows evidence of the bug still wreaking havoc in the game. “Turns out the Kiriko headshot bug was never fixed,” they said in the post’s caption. “Nothing but smiles from me.”

Beyond this sarcastic tone, the clip itself shows a player landing what are clearly point-blank headshots on Kiriko, but no damage is being done.

The community was left in disbelief that it’s still there after all this time, with one user saying, “JFC no wonder I had so much trouble with Kiriko but no other character.”

Others are just appreciative that they haven’t been experiencing isolated incidences of their own, as they haven’t been able to land a headshot on Kiriko.

Many other players are claiming that the issue was never fixed, and that the devs shortened the hitbox of the character’s arm, which causes the head hitbox to be blocked.

It’s evident that a good contingent of the Overwatch 2 base believes that Kiriko needs a nerf – or several – of some kind:

“Wait what? So she already had a tiny bit box plus this, plus she can do everything in the game… she needs a buff so she can fly.”

Given how long it has been without a fix for it, it’s hard to say whether or not Blizzard will try to implement a change.
