Viral Rihanna concert iPhone vs Android

A brief clip of a Rihanna concert at a private wedding in India has gone viral, partially because of how impressed people were with the phone it was filmed on. But which phone took the video, an iPhone or Android?

Rihanna’s first concert in almost a decade was part of a pre-wedding party in India, a party in which she was given a full stage with lights and backup dancers to put on a great performance.

And, while dozens of videos came from those in attendance at the massive wedding, one video in particular from an audience member who was far away from the stage has garnered attention due to how high quality the video was from so far away.

But what was this video actually filmed on? Was it an iPhone or an Android?

iPhone vs Android at viral Rihanna concert

There’s been a lot of speculation around the phone in which this concert was filmed on, though it was widely speculated that this was shot on an Android rather than an iPhone. Considering the ongoing rivalry between Apple and Android users, this became a huge point of contention.

Samsung’s Brazil account even took to Twitter and claimed ownership of the phone in the clip.

This resulted in pushback from the person who originally filmed the video, where he revealed what phone he shot the video on.

The viral Rihanna concert clip from the Indian wedding was filmed on an iPhone 13 MAX, as confirmed by the original poster, joh_masse.

What’s more, he had receipts and directly called out people spreading misinformation. While one video shouldn’t determine which phone company is “superior”, this one looks like a win for iPhone users.
