Woman sparks viral debate with claim DoorDash won’t deliver to your door now

A DoorDash customer went viral after she ranted about the delivery service refusing to deliver to customers’ doors anymore. 

TikToker Kanu took to the platform to share her thoughts surrounding the delivery service provided by DoorDash.

“Somehow DoorDash quickly became ‘Call-you-when-I’m-in-the-lobby-Dash.’ The ‘Hey-come-outside-and-pick-it-up-Dash,’” she begins. 

“I wanted it at my door. That’s why I DoorDashed it. I might be in the shower. I can’t come downstairs to the lobby in my pajamas… That was the whole point of getting it to my door,” Kanu tells viewers.

TikTok weighs in on DoorDash delivery debate

After the video was posted on the platform, it sparked a huge debate, with people eager to weigh in with their thoughts. 

“Seriously – and considering how expensive they’ve made it?” one asked, agreeing with Kanu, to which the poster replied:

“You pay 1 million dollars + tip and can’t get to my door.”

“‘Leave-it-at-the-wrong-house-even-tho-I-gave-you-specific-instructions-Dash’” another wrote, parodying the delivery service. 

Some, however, thought that commenters were being too harsh, writing: “Have some consideration for drivers… I just meet them outside and make it easier.”

“No cause why am I getting paid the same to drop it off at someone’s one floor doorstep vs someone’s maze of an apartment building. And no parking,” a delivery driver defended.
