A Baldur’s Gate 3 fan has shared a custom-made map of the entire game’s overworld, and the community loves it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is split into three Acts, each of which has its own environment to for players to explore and fight their way through.

However, the game does not keep each area on the map once players have progressed to the next Act, meaning that they can feel a little disjointed when trying to view them as a whole.

But one fan has remedied this by creating a custom overworld map and the fanbase wants to have their own copy.

The map was shared on the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit, showing off the final result of the poster’s hard work to connect each area of the game into a single map.

Notably, the map features all three major areas: The Wilderness, Shadow-Cursed Lands, and Baldur’s Gate itself. Even more, they are all connected just as they would be in the game.

The response has been highly positive, with many BG3 fans admiring the work that went into creating the map.

One person writes, “Fantastic work here. Would you consider putting that on the bg3.wiki? It would be great for a general walkthrough.”

Of course, there are some Baldur’s Gate 3 players who have found minor inaccuracies, mainly for some of the smaller, optional areas in the game. However, this hasn’t stopped them from appreciating the piece as a whole.

As one user points out: “You forgot the House of Hope and the jungle you are teleported into by the Djinn! Very well done! Good job.”

The map has even shown many players locations they have missed in their playthroughs, as one user comments: “I’ve played the game twice and never been to Zhentarim Basement.”

It’s creations and reactions like this that show just how strong of a following Baldur’s Gate 3 has.
