The Until Dawn remake has been given a new trailer and a release timeline as part of Sony’s State of Play event.

Developer Supermassive Games is known for its cinematic horror titles. Each and every project of theirs features a roster of well-known actors and forces players to dictate their own path in the hopes that their choices save as many people as possible.

And while Supermassive has had success with all their games, their first major title in Until Dawn remains a cult classic and favorite amongst fans.

The game first released in 2015, with the likes of Hayden Panettiere, Rami Malek, Brett Dalton, and more all starring as the various playable characters.

At Sony’s January 31, 2024 State of Play event, it was revealed that a remake of Until Dawn will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC later in 2024.

The announcement trailer for the remake showed off some major visual improvements, however, it is unclear if this remake will include any new content or if it is simply an updated version of the original game.

During Sony’s State of Play on May 30, a new trailer for the upcoming remake showing off more of the game’s story and the improved graphics and effects.

Unfortunately, they did not give a firm release date, but did mention that the Until Dawn remake is aiming to release sometime in Fall 2024.

The trailer still doesn’t specify any new changes to gameplay that could be coming with the remake, however. It simply showcases what the expect from playing it.
