Angel in Hazbin Hotel Episode 4.

From a pilot episode to a full-fledged season on Amazon Prime Video, Hazbin Hotel is a dark comedy about Charlie Morningstar trying to save Hell – but is the series age-appropriate?

Centered around the many scandalous and evil demons of Hell, Hazbin Hotel has Charlie Morningstar try to change things around before the annual Extermination. She runs into a few problems. Many of the demons in Hell are there for a reason and are well aware of their devious ways.

There’s an array of characters to keep an eye on. Besides the concept of Heaven and Hell, damnation, and demons, is the series appropriate for various ages. It’s tagged as a black comedy mixed with musical elements.

By all accounts, Hazbin Hotel is an intriguing storyline to get invested in. But here’s what you need to know before turning it on in the vicinity of minors.

Can kids watch Hazbin Hotel?

Hazbin Hotel is an adult animated series not suited for kids under 18. But it’s up to parents’ discretion if kids near the age of 16 or 17 can watch the series.

The general consensus on whether Hazbin Hotel is age-appropriate is that it’s better left for adult viewers or teenagers who can handle the crewd jokes. Hazbin Hotel isn’t shy about using profanity and vulgar language and actions. Characters like Angel Dust are all about his story as a famous porn star and his sexual actions toward others.

More often than not, he likes to try and allure others. One of his more adult scenes is when his “pimp” forces him to work and take part in filming a pornography film. The message of his song has a double meaning that many will make out. Not to mention that Hazbin Hotel does have central demons who enjoy their role as being sinners and killing.

The commercial for the hotel shows multiple demons killing each other. There’s also the scene where Charlie is having her musical number and gets stopped by a flasher who asks if she wants to touch his private parts. Hazbin Hotel is no doubt meant for an adult audience.

Then again, today’s youth is questionable when it comes to being desensitized. Hazbin Hotel being age-appropriate is up to the parents. It has its moments of levity where it drives the crux of the storyline of Charlie wholeheartedly wanting to save the people in Hell. Underneath the demons, were once real human souls.
