Exhuma focuses on a wealthy family needing the services of a sham duo to save their newborn child from evil forces. But as they set out their plan, they’ve only angered and worsened an evil darkness. Here’s everything to know about Exhuma.

What is Exhuma about?

Shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil are called in to help a wealthy family from LA after a series of odd occurrences, but as they exhume a grave as planned, an evil is released.

According to Soompi, “Exhuma is an occult mystery film that unravels bizarre events involving a feng shui master, a mortician, and two shamans as they relocate mysterious graves in exchange for a hefty sum of money.”

A family in LA has been experiencing a series of paranormal events. Fearful of what it means, they contract Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to protect the family’s newborn baby. But Haw Rim senses a grave evil presence has latched onto the family through ‘Grave Calling’.

Per procedure, they plan to exhume the grave of the body to allow it peace and to move on. They ask geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun for help in executing their plan. To their grand dismay, the grave is in a shady small town in Korea. They exhume the body not realizing the gravity of what they were walking into. Exhuming the body has led a greater and darker evil being unleashed.
