Who is Kristin Juszczyk? NFL jacket designer goes viral after Super Bowl

Kristin Juszczyk has made headlines after designing Taylor Swift’s custom NFL jacket, but this isn’t the first time she’s designed pieces for the stars. 

Kristen Juszczyk, wife to 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, has gone viral this NFL season after designing Taylor Swift’s custom Travis Kelce jacket.

Not only is she a designer for Swift, but Juszczyk has also made custom pieces for Brittany Mahomes, Simone Biles, Klay Thompson, and more.

Her designs are so popular that one of her pieces is currently being auctioned off to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Kristin Juszczyk says Taylor Swift “catapulted” her career

Having become inspired to make female sports merchandise, Juszczyk began teaching herself how to sew via YouTube tutorials.

Her skill and eye for creativity soon became a successful passion when she started using NFL jerseys and turning them into upcycled jackets, vests, corsets, and more.

Juszczyk’s designs even caught the eye of Taylor Swift, who Juszczyk designed a red puffer jacket for. Though Swift didn’t ask for Juszczyk to design her a jacket, Juszczyk made her one in advance and passed it along to Brittany Mahomes who later gave it to Swift.

Juszczyk has also designed pieces for actor Taylor Lautner, 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel, and model Olivia Culpo.

When she finally went big this NFL season, Juszczyk’s husband Kyle made sure everyone knew about her talent, taking to X/Twitter to share a video of her design and a caption proudly stating that she was his wife.

Juszczyk has even established a licensing deal with the NFL. Her first licensed design is currently being auctioned for at least $52,500 to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Though her fashion fame is just beginning, Juszczyk told People she attributes her quick success to Swift’s support, saying Swift helped to “catapult” her career. 

Fortunately for Juszczyk, the next NFL season is looking promising. Time will only tell who she’ll design something for next.
