One lucky Pokemon Go player has shared their “insane catch” and fans can’t get over the dad’s impressive win.

Lucky catches are all over Pokemon Go, with players getting Shiny Pokemon, powerful Buddies, and even Nundo’s which are only there to be adorably powerless. However, sometimes players get a catch that stuns the community, partly because they’re so rare, and partly because of who caught them.

This is exactly the case for one player, who shared the “insane catch” their dad got in Pokemon Go, revealing just how many fans wish their dads played, and how many want the pretty cool Pokemon for themselves.

Pokemon Go dad gets “awesome” Regigigas catch

Sharing their win on Reddit, poster vulczz revealed a Hundo Shadow Regigigas their dad just caught, labeling it an “insane catch.”

Hundos are rare enough by themselves, so grabbing a Hundo Shadow Pokemon is some pretty impressive luck.

Many other players took to the comments to praise the player and their dad for a lucky catch: “It really is pretty cool, eh? I’d be more than happy to have it.”

“Whoa! That’s amazing! Great job!” said one commenter, going on to write how they’re “a lil jelly right now.”

Others were quick to praise the father for playing the game with their kid, stating: “The great catch is ur father playing the game with u. Enjoy the hundo”

Another Pokemon Go player expressed the same sentiment: “I love the fact you play PoGo with your dad. My son plays too and it’s been a blast. We both shiny hunt so it’s fun when we get new ones. Congrats!”

It’s clear that while a Shadow Hundo Regigigas is still pretty epic, even if it’s not that powerful, the real win for these two is being able to enjoy the game together, especially when they get as lucky as this.
