Xbox just launched an Xbox 360 Mega Bloks set but it’s missing one iconic feature

Over the years, Microsoft and Xbox have partnered up with a variety of companies to create special edition products like controllers, apparel, and more.
Shortly after the launch of the Xbox Series X, Microsoft partnered with a fridge company to create a mass produced six can fridge as well.
In their latest collab, Xbox partnered with Mega Bloks to create a limited-edition Xbox 360 build set complete with a copy of Halo 3 in its case.

On September 8, 2023, Xbox posted on Twitter sharing their new collab with the mega-sized building block company.
“This hits so many levels of nostalgia and we’re here for it The MEGA 3:4 scale Xbox 360 collector set is exclusively available at Target,’ they said in the tweet alongside a video showing off the item.
The set includes a launch model Xbox 360 set, a matching controller, and a copy of Halo 3 that includes the case and disc inside.
Just a couple of hours after the announcement, pre-orders for the Mega Bloks Xbox 360 set sold out on the Target website.
Fans of the console have also made it clear that the set is missing a rather iconic feature, if you want to call it that.
“Does it include the red ring of death?” one user replied.
Another said: “Does it still give the ring of death.”
It’ll be available for purchase after it officially launches on October 8, 2023, and it will be available exclusively at Target.
