Players build up their Theurgy gauge to release a devastating attack for a cost of zero SP. However, each character’s Theurgy gauge builds energy differently. Meaning players need to utilize some strategy if they want to make the most of them in the game.

What are Theurgy skills?

Each character’s Theurgy gauge has different charging requirements to reach full.

Theurgy is the new mechanic in Persona 3 Reload, which is unlocked on June 13. A powerful skill exclusive to each party member, Theurgy is activated by loading a special cartridge into a character’s Evoker and then summoning their personas. To unleash these epic ultimates, players need to charge up each character’s Theurgy attack gauge.

How do you charge the Theurgy skill gauge?

The Theurgy attack gauge appears right next to each character’s face and health in the battle’s UI. Once a gauge is charged, players need to access the Theurgy menu by pressing R2 / RT on the controller.

Each character gets access to their own unique Theurgy spell, and each character’s Theurgy attack gauge charges differently. Plus, the protagonist gains access to a wide range of Theurgy skills called Theurgy Fusions. These fuse two personas, allowing them to act together and deliver a formidable ultimate attack. Players can access different fusion options from The Velvet Room, which they’ll unlock once they officially start their adventures in Tartarus.

There’s a lot to take in with this new mechanic, but here’s everything to know about each character’s Theurgy attack and the Protagonist’s Fusion Spells.
