Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney announced via Twitter that he had graciously donated his half of the KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite Tournament prize money to charity.

For the first time, the weekly event saw reoccurring champions in FaZe Clan’s Tfue and  Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore, who also won the week 3 (May 25th) tournament.

The June 8th event marks the fifth consecutive week for the fan-favorite event.

Friday Fortnite is an attempt by KEEMSTAR to bring together quality content and the massively popular Battle Royale title.

As in previous weeks, the competition featured well-known streamers, YouTubers, and professional players racing for the most kills over a two-map period.

Tfue and Cloak found success all the way through winners bracket and into the grand finals where they matched up against TSM’s Daequan and CaMiLLs.

After losing the first series, the FaZe duo rebounded with a tremendous second series win to close out the tournament as the week 5 champions.

Tfue showed great character in giving back the community by donating his half of the prize claim to St. Jude.

This unexpected generosity is refreshing to see, and for the second time in five weeks, we have seen a Friday Fortnite Tournament winner donate their prize claim to the less fortunate.

Many members of the community have been praising the positivity surrounding the game and event for weeks, and this gesture further supports that point.

Fans can tune in to the UMGEvents Twitch channel each week to see the regular Friday event.
