Popular Twitch streamer shares hilarious Fortnite-themed dining experience
Popular Twitch streamer Timothy ‘TimTheTatMan’ Betar Tweeted a humorous experience he had during lunch on November 1, where his server commented on the Fortnite sweater he was wearing.
“Hey, nice hoodie! I love that game!” Tim quoted his server as saying.
While Tim thanked the server and shared his sentiments toward the game, he wasn’t too happy that he went unrecognized.
“Me, thinking as I sit down: ‘I bet he would have recognized Ninja😔,’” he wrote.
Out in my fortnite sweatshirt for lunch…
Guy serving me: “hey nice hoodie! I love that game!”
Me: “thanks it’s definitely fun”

Of course, Ninja couldn’t help but retweet the hilarious interaction, and a few more notable streamers reacted to the story in the Tweet’s replies. Popular streamer Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo joined in on the fun, writing out a fake conversation between Tim and the server.
“Me: ‘Yeah, ever watch it on Twitch?’ Guy serving: ‘Absolutely, love watching Ninja play it,’” he wrote.
FaZe Cloak went so far as to ask Tim what he’d ordered, to which Tim said, “Don’t worry about it.” After Cloak commented that he needed new friends, Tim admitted that he’d ordered a salad, much to the internet’s amusement.

“The least he could have done was ask if you’re the guy who plays with Ninja,” one user wrote. Brewers pitcher Jimmy Nelson responded to the Tweet, writing, “#timthesadman.”
“Awe, this is so sad – can we get five gifted subs?” another replied, to which Tim answered, “Fax.”
It’s no secret that Ninja is one of Fortnite’s most popular streamers, and it looks like his fame in the game is “taking its toll” on his friends. Luckily, they’re willing to joke about it, and the relative “disparity” between them manages to make for some humorous moments.
