Modern Warfare players call for Infinity Ward to fix ‘invincible’ exploit

Players have found a new way to become invincible in Modern Warfare and the community is demanding a fix from the developers at Infinity Ward.

In a series where time-to-kill is absolutely crucial in promoting fair and balanced competition, gaining the power of invincibility is nothing short of game-breaking.

Despite this, players have discovered a new method of gaining bullet-proof skin and the Call of Duty community wants to see it put to an end immediately.

The exploit is accessible on Aniyah Palace.

While a number of invincibility bugs have popped up since the release of Modern Warfare, the latest issue appears to stem from one map in particular.

One of the Ground War maps in Infinity Ward’s latest,  Aniyah Palace is a sprawling battlefield that has been translated over to the Infected playlist.

Unfortunately, players have spotted an exploit while jumping over certain terrain. While positioned in the upper left corner of the map, there’s a sectioned off area covered in barbed wire to indicate anyone beyond the point is out of bounds.

Jumping directly on top, however, glitches players inside the terrain. From there, they can shoot down on nearby foes without taking any damage in return.

Fortunately, the exploit locks players into a single position. So if you’re able to steer clear of that side of the map, you won’t run into any trouble.

Due to the nature of the Infected gametype, however, it is a clear cheat as players are unable to take out anyone utilizing the exploit.

Thus far, no one has been able to figure out a consistent method of dealing with the cheaters, though some have suggested that walking directly under them could do the trick and allow damage to go through.

While Infinity Ward is yet to comment on the issue, it has certainly become a hotly contested subject in the community and will likely see a fix in the near future.

For the time being, if you find yourself loading into an Infected match on Aniyah Palace, be sure to keep an eye out for players looking to exploit the issue as you can easily gun them down before the glitch comes into effect.
