There's a brand new battle pass for Season 3 of Apex Legends, with lots of new exciting skins, cosmetics and more to be unlocked. Here's a look at everything added with the 'Meltdown' update.

The main attraction of Season 3 is, of course, the new map, World's Edge, which sees the legends transported to an entirely new planet, filled with lava and ice.

There's also the new legend, Crypto, who players are finally able to try out, along with his nifty new drone.

Free rewards

Before we get into the battle pass itself, there are four free rewards for all players, regardless of whether you buy the pass or not. Check them out:

But, on top of the new legend and map, what will really keep you coming back to 'World's Edge', is the battle pass, which will aim to improve upon Season 2.

Admittedly, the first season was fairly underwhelming in terms of new content, and Season 2 certainly made a big step up, but with all that experience, Respawn should be able to do even better on their third attempt.

The battle pass will include 'over 100 exclusive items'.

700

The new pass will include another 100 tiers, with a reward for each, including legendary skins, Apex packs and new items like weapon charms.

The full battle pass trailer can be watched below.

All tiers and rewards in Season 3 battle pass

How much is the Season 3 battle pass?

For the base version, it will cost 950 Apex coins, but you can buy the bundle version, which gives you a boost of 25 levels and the new Iced Out Pathfinder skin, for 2800 Apex coins.

If you played through Season 2 and ranked up to tier 100, you should have earned enough coins to get the base pass.

Apex Legends Challenges

On top of just playing and ranking up normally, challenges will be returning for Season 3 to help you rank up your battle pass tiers even faster.

Exact details of the challenges will come later, but we should expect more daily and weekly tasks to complete to expedite the ranking up process.
