The System Override event in Apex Legends has changed the loot found in different areas of World’s Edge, and one player has put together a useful map to show all of their findings.

Respawn Entertainment revealed the limited time event on February 27, with it lasting between March 3-17 in-game, and it’s brought a few different things to the popular battle royale game.

This map will help those playing the Deja Loot limited time game mode, and will even help locate some of the new Evo Shields, which were also revealed with the System Override update. Some looting locations are better to visit than others on the limited time mode, so let’s take a look at where things appear.

Looking to find shields easily in Apex Legends? This map should help you grab a few.

Reddit user koz1769 will be the first to admit that not everything is included in their map so far, with a number of comments pointing towards locations that aren’t yet marked on the graphic.

However, there’s certainly been quite a bit of work put into making it and while not complete – which is something they intend on fixing in the near future – it’s pretty easy to see which landing spots are more attractive than others by reading it.

The circle and paths of the dropship change in Deja Loot, but the loot remains the same across World’s Edge, so let’s take a look and see where’s best to land when playing the mode.

I started a map of all the important deja loot locations. I’m away working for the next few days so this is as far as I got. Feel free to add to it! Enjoy from apexlegends

Based on the map above, you can see the locations of a number of purple (Epic) items, including shields, knock down shields, helmets and more. It shows the likes of Mirage Voyage and The Epicenter are packed with stuff, but it’s also worth noting that they’re two of the most popular landing spots around – so watch out for enemies.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen players point out locations of items for the Deja Loot mode, though, with another creating a map to show where Evo Shields can be found as well.

Hopefully this map, and others, will be useful for players looking for specific pieces of armor in the battle royale game. The System Override event, as mentioned earlier, ends on March 17 so if you haven’t already, jump in and see what it’s all about.

Apex Legends leaks hints at vehicles coming in Season 7

Some new leaked animations in Apex Legends are potentially hinting at vehicles coming to the popular battle royale title in Season 7.

As far as battle royale games go, Apex Legends is one of the last that doesn’t offer players vehicles for faster rotation and to hit different areas of the map quicker. The likes of Warzone and Fortnite have had vehicles for mobility for a long time at this point, while Apex players haven’t had that opportunity.

That said, always looking for ways to offer fans something fresh and exciting in the game, the Apex devs appear to be following suit, if recent leaks are anything to go by.

On top of a weapon charm, some new animations definitely look to prove that we’re getting vehicles sooner rather than later.

As shared by renowned dataminer Shrugtal on Twitter, the Ride Share charm has two passenger seats alongside the driver’s seat, and it’s a hover vehicle.

That’s not all, though: he found some new animations that all but confirm the existence of vehicles in the Apex Games.

As you can see in this tweet below, there are animations in the 6.1 patch for a driver and passenger hovering while seated — perfectly fitting for a Hover Vehicle.

As many people have pointed out, the current Apex Legends maps, World’s Edge and Kings Canyon, are a fair share smaller than maps in other battle royale titles, so vehicles may not be as fitting in the game as they are in others. One common theory is that the vehicles may be on rails, similar to the train, rather than being drivable for players to freely traverse the map.

However, the new Olympus map has been speculated about for months now, so it is absolutely possible that they come into the game purely for that — also suggesting that Olympus will be the game’s biggest map yet.

Right now, we can’t confirm for absolute certainty that this means vehicles will be coming to the game, and we should never take leaks as gospel, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see this happen. The big question is how it all plays out.
