With so much hype surrounding Avengers: Endgame, what better way to celebrate the film's release than a Marvel intro sequence edited to feature characters and memes from Apex Legends.
Anyone who has seen at least one Marvel movie will be familiar with the iconic introduction video that's played right before the film's main titles pop up on screen.
Over the years, that sequence has changed and become more modern, to the point now where it features dozens of characters from past Marvel films.
In honor of Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, one of the most anticipated films in recent memory, Reddit user 'Socksfor1' has spent a lot of time putting together a comical mashup video between the Marvel intro and Apex Legends.
The video features the classic Marvel music and animation, but instead of flipping through moments from previous films and their characters, the video instead depicts the various Legends and memes from the world of Apex Legends.
At the beginning of the video, instead of strips taken from comic books, the video includes a variety of memes having to do with the popular battle royale title.
Following that are the Legends, but each one's head has been replaced with either the face of a prominent content creator, such as Ninja and KEEMSTAR, or an outside reference that people relate with that particular Legend.
The clip ends with the name of the game written in large, block, metallic letters, very similar to how the Marvel intro wraps up. You can see an example of a recent Marvel intro taken from the 2018 film Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Avengers: Endgame is the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War, and the fourth installment of the Avengers series.
Releasing on April 26, it's expected to mark the end of the current phase within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is currently up to 22 films.
While the Apex Legends mashup was purely a fan-made product, Marvel have actually partnered up with another popular battle royale game to bring exclusive in-game content to players.
Although exactly what awaits Fortnite Battle Royale players remains to be seen, it could be something similar to the Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mode that went live around the time of Infinity War's release back in 2018.
