Apex Legends exploit gives Wraith players unlimited phase while running

Wraith is one of the most popular characters to play as in Apex Legends, and players have discovered an insane exploit that allows her to use her ‘Into The Void’ tactical ability to constantly phases in and out of the world, making it almost impossible to kill her.

Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale is different from other games in the genre, with players able to choose characters with their own special abilities as they try to get a leg-up on their opponents while attempting to win matches and become Apex Champions.

These abilities are designed specifically for each Legend in the game, leading players to prefer some characters over others as they suit their playstyle better. One of the most popular Legends is “Interdimensional Skirmisher” Wraith, who can travel between dimensions to avoid damage or flank opponents, and some players have found a way to make her tactical ability “Into The Void” last indefinitely, making it extremely difficult to hit her with bullets.

Wraith’s abilities have made her one of Apex Legends’ most popular characters.

In a post uploaded to the Apex Legends subreddit on February 2, GI_JOE_GAMING revealed that they had been playing a match on Worlds End when they encountered a Wraith who was abusing an exploit to remain “in the void” permanently, jumping in and out to fire shots at her enemies before activating it once again to protect herself when fire was returned.

The Wraith could be seen sprinting across Worlds End towards the player, disappearing and reappearing at will as the team struggled to connect with the magical character. Eventually, the team managed to corner the glitching opponent and finally eliminate her for the victory, but the Reddit user admitted they had “such a hard time” taking her down, even though they had a two-man advantage in the final battle.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that players have found ways to exploit Wraith’s tactical ability, with a similar glitch appearing back in July 2019, leading Respawn to eventually threaten bans for those who continuously abused it in matches.

Unsurprisingly, Apex Legends players are not happy that this glitch exists once again, with players calling on the developers to reintroduce their policy of banning players who use the exploit.

Respawn have yet to address the return of the Wraith phasing issue, but with the game’s Season 4 set to kick off on Tuesday, February 4, players will be hoping that the developers will issue a response to it, as a fix before the release of the update seems unlikely.

Cocky Apex Legends cheater banned after streaming hacks on Twitch

An Apex Legends hacker, ‘Loide90,’ has been exposed and swiftly banned after brashly streaming on Twitch, face cam and all, with obvious wall hacks enabled.

It’s one thing to feel emboldened enough to infuriate opponents and risk bans by hacking in a video game. It’s entirely another beast of brazen confidence to stream those hacks live on Twitch to over 700 viewers while casually hanging out with your face cam turned on.

As it turns out, an Apex Legends streamer, Loide90, boasts such levels of unabashed self-assuredness. During an October 25 stream, he was exposed for nonchalantly using wallhacks during a fairly busy broadcast.

And no, these were not Bloodhound’s brand of temporary superior visibility, restricted by cooldowns and location, as Loide90 could simply see vibrant, red enemy silhouettes through walls permanently. Since the exposure, he has apparently been banned on both Twitch and in the popular battle royale from Respawn Entertainment.

With numerous people taking to Twitter to call out Loide90’s untoward behavior, other streamers even got in on the action. One peer, by the name of ‘noobkingsmith,’ was watching the hacker live, granting viewers a chance to clip the cheats from someone else’s channel and thereby ensuring the clip wouldn’t be so easily deleted.

Clipped by ‘VixTrilogy’ and shared on Twitter with Respawn tagged directly, it was actually another tweet that appears to have gotten the developers’ attention and led to the eventual ban.

After ‘Jonny,’ a professional player for SoaR, posted a clip showing how he died to the hacker, Respawn Producer Josh Medina responded confirming the cheater had been banned and that it wasn’t his first transgression.

Numerous others had tagged Medina and the dev followed up by letting the community know what a Twitch search for Loide90’s account also confirms: the account is banned.

“I told him this would happen before banning one of his alts.” As Medina explains, he apparently had tried to broach the subject with Loide before and, with his warnings unheralded, was once again forced to ban the brash cheater.

It appears that the hacker’s Twitch account has been banned and, although it has yet to be confirmed, one has to imagine that his EA account for Apex Legends has also been purged.
