WWE 2K24 has proved a treat for wrestling fans. But does the game have crossplay capabilities? What about cross-progression? Here’s everything to know about both.

WWE 2K24 has proven itself to be a knockout, launching to positive reviews and praise thanks to the introduction of fresh, fun new modes like Ambulance and Casket matches. Not to mention the restoration of classic features like GM Mode.

Plus, the game’s special 2K Showcase mode highlights some of the greatest matches in the history of WrestleMania, with a massive twenty-one matches available, allowing fans to relive some of WWE’s best moments.

With the game available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC, many players are wondering, is crossplay available?

Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant is just one of the classic matches available in WWE 2K24’s 2K Showcase.

Does WWE 2K24 have crossplay?

No. WWE 2K24 does not have crossplay functionality.

Players can only play with and compete against users on the same console as them. While PC players can only compete against other PC players.

However, crossplay may be a possibility eventually. Game producer, Bryan Williams did say crossplay was something the team was “keen to do” further down the track.

Does WWE 2K24 have cross-progression?

Yes. WWE 2K24 has cross-progression.

Players who purchase the game and then upgrade to a newer console within the same family will be able to transfer all of their progress to their new console. So, PS4 players who upgrade to a PS5 can transfer their WWE 2K24 progress between the consoles, but players who switch from a PS4 to an Xbox Series X|S won’t be able to transfer progress between the two different platforms.

Players should also note DLC items will not carry over from one generation of consoles to the next.
