A Starbucks barista took to TikTok to give her review of the new lavender springtime drinks and she wasn’t impressed.

The new springtime lavender menu released by Starbucks has been making waves, with many eager to race to stores to sample the new drinks.

A Starbucks barista offered a review for those who hadn’t managed to grab one yet. Creator Cassie has gained over 830,000 views after posting her and her co-worker’s opinions of the drink.

She calls her review simply, “trash or gas,” and goes on to try the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha. “Absolutely not,” her coworker said, meaning that this got a solid “trash.”

Next, they try the new latte, to which Cassie says: “Sorry, Starbucks, we don’t like it. So, it seems that the new menu isn’t for everyone.

After the review was posted on the short-form video platform, people couldn’t wait to weigh in and share their opinions on the new drinks.

“I’VE BEEN BEGGING FOR LAVENDER FOR YEARS YOU’RE LYING I’M SO EXCITED,” one said, dying to try the new release.

“I actually really like it! I’ve done the iced latte with lavender cold foam and the iced matcha with lavender cold foam. Gonna try a iced chai with lavender cold foam next! So good!” another wrote.

Some baristas had even come up with their own concoctions, writing: “So as a barista my store has sampled it and we’ve made some fun concoctions like a vanilla bean Frappuccino with white mocha and the lavender it’s the BEST thing I’ve had with the lavender.”

Starbucks baristas have consistently gone viral in March, as another barista claimed she’d encountered the creepiest customer imaginable.
