After popular demand, McDonald’s announced that they’d be bringing back their Shamrock Shake, however, it won’t last long. Here are the details.

In order to commemorate the return of St. Paddy’s day, McDonald’s has decided to bring back a fan favorite – the Shamrock Shake. According to popular food blogger, @snackolator, this limited-edition beverage will be returning on February 5 in the US.

Last year’s Shamrock Shake was released on February 20, which means we’re getting the drink a whole two weeks early this year, and we’re feeling lucky!

The Shamrock Shake is a fairly straightforward beverage, made up of only two ingredients: vanilla soft serve and Shamrock Shake syrup. It’s then finished off with a dollop of whipped cream.

People can’t wait to get their hands on McDonald’s Shamrock Shake

When the popular food blogger announced the return of the shake on their Instagram page, people lost their minds.

“I’ve been wanting to try this for forever,” one wrote, eager to get their hands on the beverage.

“I wish this shake was on the menu permanently,” another fan wrote.

“This is an annual tradition for me. The best! I can’t believe it’s so early this year!” one exclaimed.

However, it seemed as though this popular shake had already arrived at some fans’ local McDonalds, with a few writing: “Already at my McDonald’s today!”

Fast food fans have lots to be excited about, as Krispy Kreme has also announced the release of their seasonal heart-shaped doughnuts.
