MW3 players mock CoD for releasing the same maps every year

MW3 players are over the repeated releasing of certain maps in every game, and they’re voicing their irritation online.

Despite each entry releasing with original maps every year, the CoD series likes to carry certain maps to the next game, and MW3 is no different.

This most recent game saw Shipment return, after appearing in the last two entries as well.

While some players enjoy these maps coming back, others are less enthused and are voicing their annoyance on social media.

MW3 fans are over the same maps being released every year

In a post on the CoD subreddit, a fan made a sarcastic post to target this repetitive map release: “Cod 2024 leaked launch map rotation.”

But while the title gives excitement for leaked information, the post itself is just eight copies of the same image of Shipment.

This dig at the series was met with more jokes by the community, with one user responding: “No youre wrong its definitely missing something. If it had shipment it would be perfect.”

Some of the community is correcting the post by reminding them that the next game is going to come from Treyarch, so the old/new map will be Nuketown, not Shipment.

There are other users who feel that if they are going to keep releasing the same map, they should at least release the different versions that have come out over the years, not just the one from MW3:

“… If I want to grind some camos and do some chaotic shipment can’t they at least throw in a few of the other varieties of shipment…”

This is in reference to games like Vanguard changing Shipment up slightly by adding an upper area players can climb to.

Despite part of the community being fed up with the same maps every year, there are a lot of players who love having Shipment and Nuketown come back, as they both provide great ways to grind out camo challenges.

And as long as the maps stay popular overall in MW3 and other titles, it can be sure that they will keep coming back for future games.
