Season 2 of 1923 has just started, but star Madison Elise Rogers is already teasing the finale, claiming that “the last episode is unreal.”
1923 currently sits in the middle of the Yellowstone narrative, with the 10 episodes of 1883 detailing what happened to the Dutton clan in the past, and Yellowstone itself bringing the family’s story up to the present-day.
Starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as Jacob and Cara Dutton, 1923 details their efforts to keep the family business afloat during a period of drought and prohibition, as well as the early period of the Great Depression.
Madison Elise Rogers plays Lindy in the show, a sex worker who was introduced at the tail-end of Season 1, during which she endured a terrible ordeal at the hands of Timothy Dalton’s character, Donald Whitfield. One that isn’t over yet.
What Madison Elise Rogers says about the end of 1923 Season 2

Lindy’s dark storyline continues during Season 2, during which her relationship with Whitfield becomes even more twisted, with Rogers telling ScreenRant: “I’m excited for people to see where she goes. I think she’s a very interesting character.”
Whitfield takes pleasure in asserting control over Lindy, and Rogers believes that situation is universal, saying: “I think a lot of women can see themselves in a similar position or maybe have experience, to a smaller degree, of being in a situation with a man that’s powerful and dangerous. That is scary, and I think there’s something realistic about it. I feel like, if Whitfield existed, this would be something that actually happens.”
Whitfield is also encouraging Lindy to partake in his sick games, with Rogers adding: “She is leaning into it, but I think she’s completely been brainwashed. She’s doing what she has to do, as gruesome as it is, and she’s trying to get through what she’s going through.”
As for what’s to come, Rogers says the season finale – which airs on April 13, 2025 – is unmissable “for many reasons, not just for Lindy,” adding that “the last episode is unreal. I cannot wait to see it. I read most of it, and I had such a visceral reaction to it.”
