CRKD reveals Neo S controller with the Nitro Deck’s best features
CRKDCRKD has finally revealed the Neo S wireless controller for the Nintendo Switch, and it sports some of the Nitro Deck’s most popular features.
Back in 2023, CRKD came out of nowhere and launched what could be considered the most popular Nintendo Switch accessory: the Nitro Deck.
With hall-effect joysticks and buttons, the Nitro Deck allows users to slide their Nintendo Switch into the controller for elevated comfort and a better overall experience than normal Switch controllers would provide.
CRKD revealed the Neo S controller on February 8, 2024, and it includes some of the best features that come with the Nitro Deck.
CRKD Neo S sports hall effect sensors and special designs
Announced on YouTube, the CRKD Neo S is a wireless controller designed for the Nintendo Switch, PC, Mobile, and even Smart TV gaming.
It features a NES controller style design with staggered joysticks and hall effect sensors galore. But, CRKD didn’t stop there.
The Neo S brings over the Nitro Decks adjustable trigger sensitivity and swappable stick tops for precise customization. Not to mention, they’ve added two remappable back buttons.
Also just like the Nitro Deck, CRKD has partnered with well known controller artist POPeART to create over half a dozen different designs including transparent colorways.
The main colorway used in their advertisement is Retro Gold, which takes inspiration from the original Famicom release.
It’s available for preorder now on the CRKD website, and comes in at $49.99. It’s expected to ship in April 2024.
