The Overwatch League Stage 3 Playoff Teams and Bracket are Set

The Overwatch League Stage 3 playoff bracket has been decided.

The final playoff spot came down to the very last match of the stage, but a win for LA Valiant over the Philadelphia Fusion denied the Fusion a shot at playoffs, and confirmed the LA Gladiators as the fourth-place team.

The Valiant themselves secured the third-place spot, while the New York Excelsior put a third straight stage with a 9-1 record in the books, although this time it was only enough to place second.

The top spot belongs to the Boston Uprising, who became the first team to complete a stage of the Overwatch League undefeated at 10-0.

In previous stages, the top-place team secured a direct route to the stage finals. For Stage 3, however, the playoffs have been expanded from three teams to four, meaning Boston will have to play a semi-final match to advance.

As reward for the first seed, Boston Uprising were given their choice of opponent for their semi-final match-up. From the other three playoff teams they have chosen to face the LA Gladiators for a spot in the final.

  • Semi-Final – LA Gladiators vs Boston Uprising – 13:00 PT
  • Semi-Final – LA Valiant vs New York Excelsior – 15:00 PT
  • Final – TBD vs TBD – 17:00 PT
