MTG Fallout: Best new cards

Three Dog, Galaxy New DJ

Three Dog Commander card

An incredibly unique new Commander option that can broadcast Auras across your whole squad. By loading Three Dog up with powerful buffs, those buffs can then be sacrificed to transmit copies and equip them to your whole attacking squad.

Nuclear Fallout

Nculear MTG card

A high-powered new X-Cost card that combines creature destruction with burn damage and mill to devastate each player at the table indiscriminately. With both this and a reprint of Ravages of War coming to Universes Beyond: Fallout, the set is taking no prisoners in creating truly ghoulish effects worth of the wasteland.

Liberty Prime, Recharged

MTG Fallout Liberty Prime mech

An incredible new Artifact creature that is sure to enliven Jeskai (red, blue, and white) decks. Liberty Prime – and the Science! deck as a whole – sees the welcome return of Energy Counters from Kaladesh. By spending this additional resource, Liberty Prime can attack and block without fear. What’s more, this card has a secondary use of energy, providing reliable, repeatable card draw for a small investment,

MTG Fallout: Best Reprints

Mechanized Production

MTG Fallout mechanized reprint

Artifacts fans the world over will be extremely pleased to see this blue staple. Karnstruct Commanders like Urza, Chief Artificer can use Mechanised Production to build up their forces with ease. Any deck with the ability to pump out Thopters can use this card to cruise to an early victory

Guardian Project

MTG Fallout guardian project

A card with so-so viability in Standard that is an obscene powerhouse in singleton formats like Commander. Thanks to Commander’s deckbuilding restrictions, each deck will already meet Guardian Project’s requirements by default. This reliable card draw can replace every creature you play with a new, powerful in-hand option.

Heroic Intervention

MTG Fallout heroic reprint

An exceptional, mana-cheap protection card. Granting both hexproof and indestructible almost guarantees that a target of your choice can survive whatever your opponents are throwing at it. What’s more, Green is hardly lacking for mana, making it feasible to always keep some in reserve to throw this down and spoil any attempts at removal.
