Baldur’s Gate 3 is massive, and even over six months since it was released fans are discovering key details you may have missed.

An RPG like Baldur’s Gate 3 still reaching intense popularity and having such a dedicated fan base over six months after release is certainly rare – with video game giants like Skyrim, Red Dead, and The Witcher sharing in similar popularity. Part of the Baldur’s Gate 3 love is due to the beloved community, but the other is owed to the expansive gameplay, filled with hundreds of hours of storyline.

In fact, the gameplay is so large that even now, players are missing key details in their playthroughs. Now, one fan has asked the community about those forgotten details, and players are stunned with what they’ve missed out on.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players stunned after missed details revealed

“What is something the community at large doesn’t know yet?” posted one user on Reddit. They added their own details, highlighting “Kagha’s shadow druids” and “Yurgir’s cat.”

Kagha’s shadow druids is a hidden detail that largely explains her actions in the Druid Grove, and are a group you can meet depending on your actions. While Yurgir’s cat highlights the displacer beast and the sad things you can get Yurgir to do to his pet.

While many didn’t know about either details, a few comments stood out, with thousands missing out on rare cutscenes and even reanimated versions of companions.

“It’s possible to encounter zombified Minthara and Dror Ragzlin” commented one fan, going on to say how “you need to kill them in act 1, but be evil in act 2, have Isobel captured, and give dame Aylin to Balthazar. Then in the illithid colony, Balthazar will be here, with minthara and Dror as zombies.”

One player revealed that “you can trigger a rare cutscene by showing Isobel a picture of Ketheric” – what the cutscene displays will be for you to find out in your next playthrough.

Another revealed how you can head to Ketheric before his boss battle: “You can fly up to the top of Moonrise Towers, kill all of Ketheric’s necromites, kill his one friend, steal the chest items, and pickpocket him, long before you confront him.” While you may not be able to kill him, you can certainly make the battle easier by ending all his allies and pickpocketing his key items.
