Kaiju No. 8 anime finally has a confirmed release date – here’s all you need to know about it.

Spring 2024 will certainly be a phenomenal season for every anime fan as it’s all set to overwhelm the community with several massive projects. These include Demon Slayer Season 4, My Hero Academia Season 7, and Kaiju No. 8.

Kaiju No. 8 started with its serialization in the Shonen Jump Plus app in 2020, and it grew in popularity in no time – thanks to the incredible artwork, unique premise, and interesting characters. So, it was obvious when Naoya Matsumoto’s brainchild received an anime adaptation in 2022, fans rejoiced in excitement.

Even though the anime has received a trailer before, fans are happier seeing the latest trailer as it has the information that everyone has been waiting for a long time.

Kaiju No. 8 reveals release date in new trailer

Kaiju No. 8 has received a new trailer, revealing that the anime will be released on April 13, 2024. Japan-based fans can watch it on Tokyo TV at 11:00pm, while international fandom can rely on Crunchyroll and, interestingly, X/Twittee to deliver the much-awaited anime adaptation to you. The former streaming service may simulcast the episodes after their official release in Japan, but X will simultaneously air the episodes with their Japanese release.

In the brand-new trailer, we get introduced to the world of Kafka Hibino, an individual who worked as a member of the Defence Force, responsible for eliminating the existence of Kaijus. However, one day, he mistakenly ingests a small Kaiju and gets a shocking transformation. Reno Ichikawa becomes the only eyewitness to that horrific scene.

The anime project was picked by Production I.G., and looking at the recent trailer of Kaiju No. 8, it would be fair to say that the animators have done a tremendous job. The trailer has everything that the enthusiasts were expecting from the series, but we’ll have to wait for the season to drop before experiencing the true grandeur of the anime.

Besides the animation quality, the video also disclosed the opening and closing theme songs that come from some popular British musicians.
