Skull and Bones torn apart as beta testers quit after less than an hour

Skull and Bones is on its way, but players will have the chance to dive into the game a little early thanks to its Open Beta. Here’s when it starts and ends along with how you can get involved.

Despite plenty of delays and its fair share of controversy, the pirating adventure game Skull and Bones will soon be sailing into our consoles and PCs in February, bringing the joy of thievery and open seas along with it.

However, eager fans won’t have to wait long to dive into the game, especially after it was announced that an Open Beta would be coming soon. So, here’s everything you need to know about the Skull and Bones Open Beta.

When does the Skull & Bones Open Beta start and end?

Skull and Bones Delay

Thanks to the Open Beta announcement on the Skull and Bones X account, we know the Beta will be taking place between February 8 and February 11, 2024.

However, if you want to get into the game as soon as it’s available, you can preload it from February 6 at 1 am PT, 10 am CET, or 8 pm AET on your PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X|S.

Thankfully, those dates span across the weekend, so players can spend as much time as possible sailing the seas and trying out the game for themselves before its release on February 16.

How to join the Skull and Bones Open Beta

Joining the Skull and Bones Open Beta will differ depending on your console. However, it’s available to all players whether they’ve pre-ordered it already or not.
